Critic 2 Zachariah Huber 11/20/2019   The poster "WOODZ" by Stephen Carty looked like an actual movie poster. The poster had the word WOOD in white capital letters and Z in a red capital letter. The focus of the poster was a back end of a jeep on a road going through the woods. Eyes on a face were faint below the word WOODZ and above the picture of the jeep going through the woods.  The atmosphere of the poster looked as though something was going to happen. Foreshadowing of the person's eyes made it appear as though the movie would be a murder mystery in the woods or a scary movie in the woods. The shadow effect of the eyes overlaying the picture of the jeep going through the forest was well done. The colors used were blacks, grays and red. More colors would be good to add in the eyes like a deep red to give it some tension.  Unsure when the time period of the movie would take place because the placement of the jeeps' shadow just looks a bit 'eh...
Critic 1 Zachariah Huber 11/17/2019       OFN or UFN was a movie poster created by Eli Muller. The focus of the poster was an alien (cyborg) protruded out a black background. The Alien (cyborg) had alien eyes, human-like teeth, No nose, robotic upper body with robotic arms and the title letters in green. OFN or UFN had to be deciphered. There was no rating listed on this movie poster. The OFN or UFN movie poster lacked presentation. The movie poster could have have been misunderstood as a Music CD cover. Due lack of a movie rating, unsure if this movie would be rated PG-13 or R. Obviously, the main character was the alien (cyborg) but it lacks what will happen in the movie and where the setting of the movie takes pace. No other characters were mentioned or even on the poster including who was starring in this movie. In the movie poster the colors used were white, black, yellow, green and silver. The colors and tone  were well done used to represent this alie...

Zachariah Huber Hw # 7 I watched the 'Ted Talk" At first, I thought to myself it was pretty boring but than he started talking about the meaning of Art and describing his Art/Posters. I agree what he said about believing in your Art  because if you don't than no one else would believe in your skills as an Artist/Graphic Artist. Art is whatever you make it to be so there's is no rules. Just be yourself and only yourself.

Zachariah Huber HW 6 After reading this article, it made me remember that everything on TV with these celebrities could almost be lies.  Including those ads you see on the bill boards or even in magazines could also be a lie as well.  What I mean by this is that most people only see ads and wish they can be like them or be as beautiful as them. Then, they go out to buy the product so they would become as beautiful as them but instead they only feel cheated out of their money. Therefore, they should realize its's almost always a photo shop image in a magazine or ad. This doesn't just happen to one person this happens to possibly everyone almost everyday and it's cruel. If anything now that I read this from multiple sources a while back, I can say I don't really trust ads about beauty products and clothing.
Zachariah Huber HW 5 Dustin Stanton has designed numerous movie film posters, DVD and VHS covers, and newspapers ads. As he went to Art school, he landed a job working on movie posters. As a second-hand  job he liked it. The movie poster Magnolia was his big break through moment making it in the film industry. I thought the artist was a  little confusing at first I understood what he was talking about because he used Abbreviations. I thought he had a pretty cool job making these movie posters and DVD covers.

Meh favorite movie

I like this movie a lot because first, it was based off a video game back then. Now it's a movie!  Secondly, it talks about a lot of deep stuff like death and letting go of someone who has died in your life.  Thirdly, the movie and games are about some High School Students who are trying to stop the dark hour and to save all of humanity against Nyx from ending before the next spring. When it  comes around these months, this dark hour which is unknown to normal people will come at midnight and turn everyone to a coffin.  The people who aren't in coffins or don't have this certain potential called Persona will be turn to a shadow (an untamed harmful thought) and will attack other humans. But the people who have the potential called Persona have a way not to be turned to a shadow or a coffin.   Also, they can also fight shadows. To summon their Persona, they basically have to use a gun that shoots blanks and put it to there head.  Then, pull the trigge...

Homework 3 9/25/2019 I found the article "The Chief of Design Doodles All Day" to be very interesting. Nike chief designer, John Hoke explains his childhood and his dyslexia. He learned that he likes to doodle which makes him listen better.  After landing a job with Nike, he becomes a designer. Now as Chief Designer, John meets with his team that is creating a shoe that looks like it it has grass on it.  The shoe is 0 waste and made out of a birch tree bark which can be recycled totally. I found it interesting that this man had a problem like dyslexia.  It just goes to show you that you can over come the problems you were born with and still live amazingly.

Day 2 one point prospective
Homework 2 9/19/2019 The video "Rethink the Way We Sit" by Niel Diffrient was a person who spoke about his life in design. Diffrient designed a chair that was very simple to use it. Yes, he got me to think of buying his chair but not to the point where I really wanted it. His chair was kinda cool in a way of how it was built to suffice to anyone.  It does have a convoluted instruction book included with his chair.. It's just a simple click here, there and boom. I just think he should have been a bit more dynamic, exciting and speak faster. Half way through it I fell asleep and had to try to stay awake. His talk was a very mono-toned speech to me and it wasn't really interesting.

Day 1
Home work 1 9/12/2019 In the article, "How to Ruin A Great Design" by Alice Rawsthorn. She described London's change of street signs, UPS logo, the Citron logo, and McDonald's sign and chairs.. First, the street sign "Diverted Cyclists" was distracting. I agree with that statement because the "D" and the Arrow are too huge compared to the rest of the sign. The arrow and 'D' can be very distracting to any driver. Yes, the street sign 'Tower Bridge' were written 2 different ways can be a distraction. The 1961 UPS symbol was black and white with a bow above UPS. Now the current UPS symbol looked like a corn kernel from a corn on the cob over the letter UPS. Yes, I agreed about Citroen's new logo. Citroen's new symbol looked like silver boomerangs instead of the Traditional upside down V's.  Instead, I saw the old Citroen logo as right angles. McDonald's has a new symbol and brought New chairs! I don't care for ...
